Rule book

Rules

These apply to every ONYX tournament. Game-specific rule books are published with each tournament.

Teams and eligibility

Each event lists its eligibility, roster requirements and team limit. One player may not represent two teams in the same tournament.

Fair play

Cheating, exploits, prohibited emulators, teaming with opponents and other unfair play may lead to disqualification under the event rules.

Match day

Join matches at the published time and follow the official instructions. Private room details are shared only with eligible registered captains.

Roster changes

Captains may update their roster only until the organizer-configured roster-lock deadline.

Scoring

Each game and event has its own configured scoring system and tie-break rules. Read the tournament rulebook before registering.

Entry fees

The event listing states whether an entry fee applies. Paid registration is unavailable until an approved payment integration is configured.

Disputes

Use the tournament contact information and follow the dispute time limit and evidence requirements published for that event.

Game-specific rules

Game-specific settings

Match format, maps, modes, permitted content, pauses and tie-breakers are configured per tournament and published in its event rules.

Scoring system

Each tournament uses its configured scoring system. No scoring rules from one game are automatically applied to another.
